The best looking Audi A8
Tuesday, January 4, 2011World’ most beautiful car will be on production in 2014. Bugatti 16C Galibier will be produced on Audi A8 chassis. It doesn’t sound very nice but VW lost lots of money from the Veyron project and their decision for sharing platform is not something surprising. However this does not change the fact that, Galibier will be the most beautiful car on market.
I love the mutual design bit with Bugatti Atlantic model. The exhaust pipes and spine are the most exquisite bits of Bugatti. In my opinion Galibier is a better looking car than Veyron. I am pretty sure that, both of them will be iconic cars in future but Galibier has a better concept.
I hope they won’t ruin this on production version.

Second hand Bugatti Veyron

When you decide to buy a car, you might be considering the second hand option. If it offers low mileage, a descent owner, serviced well and clean interior; this might be a better option than a brand new one. Okay, second hand means; someone has already driven this car for some time. However this sacrifice turns into a benefit in terms of money!
I think Bugatti thought the same and started to offer second hand Veyrons in their web site. A brand new Bugatti Veyron costs more than one million euro, if you are not familiar with this currency. It is lots of money in each currency on earth. I think some of potential Bugatti customers do not wish to buy a brand new one and Bugatti found this solution for reasonable people :)
Currently there are fourteen Veyrons available. Seven 16.4 Coupe model and seven Grand Sport Cabrio model and unfortunately nobody get bored of their superb fast Super Sport model. There are two interesting cars, the eye catching feature is their odometer. Their owners drove these cars like a family saloon to everywhere, which means they didn’t have any other car and they invested their whole wealth a Veyron. Very good investment :P How I came with this idea? A Veyron 16.4 with 15 000 KM and a Grand Sport with 14 500 KM. I think I don’t need to say anything more. Veyron is not introduced a decade ago, so their owners drove them all the time!(There are no price tags, you need to fill the form for this information !)

Last I was watching the movie Easy Virtue (Starring Colin Firth, Jessica Biel). It was originally shot by Alfred Hitchcock in 1928 but I didn’t have chance to watch it. When I started watching this movie I was not expecting to see a grand prix racing at Monte Carlo in 1930s. The first minutes of the movie starts with nostalgic grand prix race in Monte Carlo. And at that moment, this movie caught my attention! However the involvement of cars was not limited with the race sequence. After the race, Jessica Biel drives BMW 328. I am not sure about the model but I think that is a 328! And this means the time is after 1936! Actually I am not sure about this, if I found reliable information I will share it here.
After watching the movie, I searched YouTube for vintage racing footages. And I found some :) And I also shocked! The safety measures were nothing at those times, I am not talking about safety car. There is not seat belt, no safety barrier, no safety flags, cars don’t have any safety. And drivers were dying during the race and it was mentioned like something very normal. When you consider contemporary races, drivers at those times would not consider as a real race. Like many people I always respect the drivers in early years of motor racing. Winning and losing was so tightly attached with living and dying, I think we cannot understand how it feels to race those times. By the way in one of the footage, Alfa Romeo was taking over the Bugatti !I hope you will enjoy the nostalgic Grand Prix race :)

A few days ago Bugatti announced the new model Super Sport which produces 1200 horse power to reach 430 km/h speed! That’s really amazing and exciting. Also this hormone fed Veyron is offered by orange and black colours. This colour combination is a symbol of new Veyron. This PR campaign is very well designed to reflect Super Sport’s super character but there is a minor problem.
Recently Citroën announced new DS3. Like Mini, this is a rebirth of an old iconic model. Everything is normal until now. Citroën decided to offer a quicker version of DS3 and called it DS3 Racing; excellent! And they revealed the pictures of Racing version, this 200 horse power version of DS3 is shown with orange and black colours! 
Two French car manufacturers are revealing their quicker versions and they are using same coloured cars for their press release. I have nothing to say. I have never been to France, maybe this is something traditional in French car industry but a very funny coincident. We learn one thing from this; if you wish to release a quicker French car, paint it to orange and black :) And if you cannot afford to buy a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, just buy a Citroën DS3 Racing; they are in same colour :)

I know you have been waiting for this for long time. You cannot sleep for many days, searched the Google millions of times! Even waiting for iPhone 4 for one week in front of Apple Store, you were thinking about this. And now it is announced! World most powerful and least profitable (Every Veyron cost €4 million to produce) car Bugatti Veyron announced more powerful version Super Sport. I guess the previous one just was just Sport!
Super Sport Veyron has 1200 horsepower, it has 119 extra horses! Quad turbo engine is now producing 1500 nm of torque. Don’t ask what does it mean, it is too much for a car. Actually it is too much for many trucks also. And capable of doing 431 km/h which is 24 km/h more than normal version.
I know that many Veyron owner’s were suffering due to lack of horse power and insufficient top speed. We all can see this from the beautifully made YouTube videos for a quite long time. One basic rule; when you buy a Veyron find a very cheap mobile phone with camera, turn on the music to maximum, start speaking very loudly and at the same time show people how fast your Veyron is! At these things should have the same atmosphere like a modified Peugeot 106 GTi. Unfortunately these new horses do not have any impact on 0-100 km/h sprint (still 2,5 seconds), I guess this is a bad news for some Veyron owners who are focused on 0-100 km/h sprint on YouTube.In other words, what they are doing is same as buying Chanel No.5 and pouring into a plastic bottle which was used for air refresher!
I am very happy that Ettore Bugatti did not see any of those YouTube videos and suffer this pain! Veyron Super Sport is again a master of piece of engineering which will make itself iconic like any other Bugattis. The technology to control these enormous amount of power and make it driveable for everyone is a huge success!
And please, when you buy Bugatti Veyron Super Sport don’t upload anything on YouTube from your mobile phone. Please buy a HD camera!Honestly, this looks much better :)

In 1932, Empire States Building was the tallest building on earth. Many people thought that, it is impossible to go higher than this, the limits of engineering has been achieved. And is it necessary to have a higher building? We did not run out of land or anything else happened, so why we are going up and up! When you search for tall buildings, you will end up with many many building with great architecture achievements. Now there is a building which is 828 metres and built on sand! There is nothing left to 1000 metres.
Of course with these congested sky scrappers world, there is one tower has something very special. The Eiffel Tower; since 1889, its staggering 324 metres of height and its steel construction still nothing has replaced its position. When you talk about France, it is very hard to ignore Bugatti. Like Eiffel Tower, Bugatti is always the most powerful car of its era. Unlike Eiffel, Bugatti has chance to introduce more powerful cars :) 
I am pretty sure that, many people were satisfied with 1001 horse powers of Veyron and they started to get bored! Like Eiffel Tower, it is tall but we want to see something different. That's only 1001 horses, we want more! And Bugatti listened those sounds and planning to introduce a more powerful Veyron for people who found 1001 insufficient for their daily trips.
Bugatti will be put 1200 horses into this new Veyron (Super Sport) and they started to receive the deposit payments. And it is not limited with more 200 horses, it will be 300 kilos lighters also. More power, less weight! The best combination for a car. You will have the all power on earth in a one single car! I really wonder what would be the top speed !?! And where you can achieve that speed :)Like contemporary tall buildings, this new Veyron will be totally unbelievable but like Eiffel Tower, the first Veyron will be remembered! It is the first mass produced car with 1001 horses.

Bugatti 16C Galibier and its friends

Bugatti recently revealed their four door sedan, Bugatti 16C Galibier. I think we should not say sedan to a car which is producing one thousand horsepower! When Bugatti puts this car on production, it will be the most powerful sedan has ever been produced. However Bugatti is not planning to produce 16C Galibier until Veyron is on production. Their plan is to produce Galibier after the Veyron is finished.Recently, some people saw the Galibier near Molsheim, France (Bugatti HQ). However, I noticed something from the pictures. This car is looking very similar to BMW 5 GT and Porsche Panamera. Yes, these cars are just costing no more than a Bugatti gear lever but their similarity is very interesting. Like Veyron, Galibier has the identical Bugatti DNAs in its design but product extension strategies are obsessed, they started to look very similar to each other.
Therefore, I have posted the pictures of Porsche Panamera, BMW 5 GT and Bugatti 16C Galibier. Panamera is the best for price and performance! One thousand horse power is very exciting but price tag is so depressing :)
